BONNIE SOWDER TAYLOR HEIRLOOM QUILT #15
The piecing of this quilt top was “commissioned” (probably in the 1970’s or 80’s) by Bonnie Sowder Taylor and Kanardy Leslie Taylor. They chose the pattern and the colors. The work was done by a Eureka, IL relative.
In the mid-1990’s, when they moved to Marshall, NC, BST and KLT finished the quilt. KLT designed the borders…chose and marked the heart-shaped quilting pattern. BST and KLT attached the top to the backing. BST then hand quilted the quilt.
The quilt was used in their NC residence as a bed spread until about 2003.
This quilt is property of the “Collection,” and is not to be sold.
Please return to the “Collection” when in need of cleaning or repair…or when you no longer wish to display it…and/or wish to exchange for another to display.
